Requirements
Transporting unpacked high-value single items
Not every device has packaging: exhibits after the fair, research set-ups, demonstration units. Unpacked goods can be transported if padding, fastening points and handling are clear in advance.
What matters
- Padding in the vehicle
- Blankets, pads and edge protectors instead of packaging.
- Fastening
- Straps only on load-bearing points, never across displays, cables or controls.
- Photos at takeover
- The condition before the journey is recorded – in the record by agreement.
- Limits
- Very sensitive parts without packaging are not taken over unchecked.
Planning questions
We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.
- What are the goods, what dimensions and weight?
- Where may they be gripped or fastened?
- Are there loose or moving parts?
- Should the condition be photographed at takeover?
- Would packaging be possible?
