Requirements
Transporting multi-part systems
An analytical system, a robot cell or a trade fair stand consists of many packages. If one is missing, the system is useless. For multi-part consignments, completeness matters above all – from takeover to handover.
What matters
- Packing list
- All packages with number, dimensions and weight – prepared by the shipper.
- Numbering
- “1 of 7” on every package makes gaps visible immediately.
- Load together
- All parts in one vehicle if possible – no part deliveries.
- Reconciliation at handover
- Compare package count at takeover and handover and note it.
Planning questions
We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.
- How many packages does the system consist of?
- Is there a packing list?
- Are the packages numbered?
- Do they all fit in one vehicle?
- Should the reconciliation be recorded?
What we need from you
- Multi-part consignment
- Number of packages
- Largest part (dimensions, weight)
- Date
What we do for you
What we organise
- Individual planning of your consignment – handling, date and handover aligned
- Direct transport without transhipment and documented handover by agreement
- Additional insurance on request – scope clearly agreed in the quote
Good to know
Number all packages (“1 of 7”) – that way we quickly reconcile completeness at takeover and handover.

Questions and answers: Multi-part systems
How is it ensured that no part is missing?
Through a packing list, numbered packages and reconciliation at takeover and handover – recorded on request.
Do all parts travel in the same vehicle?
If the volume allows, yes. We avoid part deliveries for systems.
How do you make sure all packages arrive?
We count and reconcile the packages against your packing list at takeover and handover – documented on request.
