What a first request needs – and what not
A request for a high-value transport does not need to be complete. A few details are enough for an initial assessment. Sensitive details such as goods value or exact addresses are only discussed in the requirements call – not in the form.
What matters
- Goods category
- Roughly what is being transported – for example metrology, a lab device, a prototype.
- Rough route
- Region or city from and to; exact addresses later.
- Date
- Preferred date or period, even if not fixed yet.
- Special features
- Sensitivities, packaging, desired services such as direct transport or documented handover.
Planning questions
We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.
- What is to be transported (category)?
- Roughly from where to where?
- Approximately when?
- What sensitivities exist?
- Which services interest you?
What we need from you
- Goods category
- Rough route
- Date or period
- Special features
What we do for you
What we organise
- Individual planning of your consignment – handling, date and handover aligned
- Direct transport without transhipment and documented handover by agreement
- Additional insurance on request – scope clearly agreed in the quote
Good to know
For the first request, category, rough route and date are enough. Values, access codes and project details are discussed confidentially in a call.
How it works
- 01
Request
You state category of goods, rough route, date and special requirements – confidential details only in conversation.
- 02
Review
We get back to you with an initial assessment and clarify open points in a call.
- 03
Quote
You receive a quote with the agreed scope – direct transport, handover and insurance as discussed.
- 04
Execution
After the call, a quote follows with form of transport, handover and conditions.
Questions and answers: What a first request needs
What is the minimum a first request needs?
Goods category, rough route, date and special features. Everything else is clarified in the call.
Why does the form not ask for the goods value?
Because it is sensitive and only needed in the requirements call – not in a form message.
Is the request binding?
No. The request is non-binding; only an accepted quote is binding.
