Transporting semiconductor equipment components
Spare and exchange components for semiconductor tools – modules, chambers, robotics, optics – are expensive, sensitive and often cleanroom-packed. The packaging stays closed until the airlock; we take care of the way there.
What matters
- Cleanroom packaging
- Double-sealed bags and crates are not opened – handover takes place packed.
- ESD and particles
- The shipper provides antistatic and low-particle packaging.
- Orientation and shocks
- Many modules are sensitive to orientation and vibration; indicators make deviations visible.
- Handover at airlocks
- Fabs have delivery zones and airlocks with their own rules.
Planning questions
We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.
- Which component (category), and how is it packed?
- Are there requirements on orientation and vibration?
- Where exactly is the handover – goods receipt, airlock?
- Are there time windows at the fab's goods receipt?
- Is it an exchange part with return?

What we do for you
What we organise
- Individual planning of your consignment – handling, date and handover aligned
- Direct transport without transhipment and documented handover by agreement
- Additional insurance on request – scope clearly agreed in the quote
Good to know
Cleanroom packaging stays closed until the airlock – we hand over at goods receipt or the airlock to your staff.
How it works
- 01
Request
You state category of goods, rough route, date and special requirements – confidential details only in conversation.
- 02
Review
We check packaging, orientation sensitivity and handover conditions and plan the transport.
- 03
Quote
You receive a quote with the agreed scope – direct transport, handover and insurance as discussed.
- 04
Execution
Takeover packed, upright and low-shock securing, handover at goods receipt or the airlock.
Questions and answers: Semiconductor equipment components
Does Logisticoo open cleanroom packaging?
No. Handover takes place packed; it is only opened behind the airlock by the recipient's staff.
How are semiconductor components protected against shocks?
By the shipper's packaging, calm handling and – by agreement – direct transport. Indicators show deviations.
Is the defective exchange part transported back as well?
Yes, on request, packed according to the manufacturer's requirements.
