Transporting high-value electronics
High-value electronics – controllers, test systems, communications equipment, special devices – are sensitive to shocks, moisture and electrostatic discharge. For transport, packaging, calm handling and a traceable handover matter.
What matters
- ESD protection
- Open assemblies travel in antistatic packaging; the shipper provides it.
- Moisture
- Temperature changes cause condensation. Desiccant and tight packaging help.
- Shocks
- Calm handling, good securing and – by agreement – direct transport without handling.
- Value per volume
- High value in a small space makes the insurance question important.
Planning questions
We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.
- What kind of electronics is it (category)?
- Is it packed ESD-safe and moisture-protected?
- Is it sensitive to shock or orientation?
- Should direct transport be planned?
- Would you like documented handover or additional insurance?

What we do for you
What we organise
- Individual planning of your consignment – handling, date and handover aligned
- Direct transport without transhipment and documented handover by agreement
- Additional insurance on request – scope clearly agreed in the quote
Good to know
Antistatic, moisture-protected packaging by the shipper is the best protection – we ensure calm handling and safe handover.
How it works
- 01
Request
You state category of goods, rough route, date and special requirements – confidential details only in conversation.
- 02
Review
We check packaging, sensitivity and route and propose form of transport and handover.
- 03
Quote
You receive a quote with the agreed scope – direct transport, handover and insurance as discussed.
- 04
Execution
Takeover, low-shock secured transport – direct by agreement – and handover, documented on request.
Questions and answers: High-value electronics
How are high-value electronics protected from electrostatic discharge?
By antistatic packaging provided by the shipper. We do not open the packaging and handle it with corresponding care.
Does direct transport make sense for electronics?
For valuable and sensitive devices often yes, because handling is avoided. It is planned by agreement.
Are high-value electronics automatically fully insured?
No. Additional insurance is discussed on request; the goods value alone is not an insurance commitment.
