Transporting camera and broadcast equipment
Cameras, lenses, transmission and control equipment travel in flight cases to locations, productions and events – with fixed dates on which a crew is waiting for the equipment. Afterwards it goes back or on.
What matters
- Flight cases
- Equipment travels in cases; their number, dimensions and weights are the planning basis.
- Fixed dates
- Shooting days and broadcasts do not move – delivery must arrive beforehand.
- Handover to the crew
- Named members of the production take over.
- Return
- After use, back to the rental house or on to the next production.
Planning questions
We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.
- How many cases, how heavy?
- When must the equipment be on site?
- Who takes over on set or at the venue?
- Where does the equipment go afterwards?
- Are there access rules at the location?
