Delivery in an agreed time window
For lab installations, trade fairs, service assignments or presentations, a consignment has to be there at a certain time. We plan delivery in an agreed time window – realistically according to route and conditions.
What matters
- Window, not minute
- A time window takes traffic and driving times into account. How narrow it can be depends on the route.
- Recipient ready
- A time window only helps if the person taking over is there at that time.
- Access and registration
- Factory sites, laboratories and exhibition halls have registration and access rules.
- Direct transport helps
- Without handling, time windows can be planned more tightly.
Planning questions
We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.
- By when, or in which period, must the consignment arrive?
- Is there an earliest or latest arrival time?
- Who takes over the consignment, and will they be on site then?
- Are there registration or access rules at destination?
- How flexible is the date?
What we need from you
- Time frame (earliest/latest)
- Request for fixed handover window
- City or region of destination
- Requirements at destination (in conversation)
What we do for you
What we organise
- Individual planning of your consignment – handling, date and handover aligned
- Direct transport without transhipment and documented handover by agreement
- Additional insurance on request – scope clearly agreed in the quote
Good to know
The more precisely you know receiving hours and contacts at destination, the narrower we can plan the time window.
How it works
- 01
Request
You state category of goods, rough route, date and special requirements – confidential details only in conversation.
- 02
Review
We check which time window is realistic on the route and agree it with recipient and access.
- 03
Quote
You receive a quote with the agreed scope – direct transport, handover and insurance as discussed.
- 04
Execution
Collection timed to reach the window; handover in the agreed window to the designated person.
Questions and answers: Delivery in an agreed time window
How narrow can a delivery window be?
That depends on route, traffic and driving times. We state a realistic window in the quote.
What if the recipient is not there in the time window?
Then handover cannot take place. That is why we clarify in advance who takes over at that time.
Does direct transport help with the time window?
Yes, without handling, arrival can be planned more tightly. Direct transport is planned by agreement.
