High-value transport within Germany
Within Germany there are no customs – planning revolves entirely around the goods: how sensitive are they, who takes over, in which time window? Many routes can be planned as a same-day direct transport; the handover at destination is decisive.
What matters
- Direct transport
- Without transhipment from shipper to recipient – by agreement.
- Handover
- To named persons, documented on request with record and photos.
- Destinations
- Institutes, hospitals, fabs, data centres and plants have their own delivery rules.
- Weekends
- Trucks are subject to Sunday and holiday driving bans; smaller vehicles may be exempt depending on weight – we check.
Planning questions
We clarify these points before quoting – the earlier they are known, the more precise the plan.
- Roughly from where to where?
- How sensitive are the goods?
- Who takes over at destination?
- Is there a fixed time window?
- Should the handover be documented?

Questions and answers: Germany
Is a same-day direct transport within Germany possible?
On many routes yes, depending on distance, collection time and receiving hours. We state a realistic time window.
Does a high-value transport in Germany need special papers?
No customs papers. A delivery note, packing list and, on request, a handover record are usually sufficient.
Can deliveries be made at the weekend?
Trucks are subject to Sunday driving bans. Whether a smaller vehicle fits is checked per consignment.
